Recording of Information
The following information can be recorded in HepTrack - patient details, laboratory test results, risk factors, clinic visits, diagnoses, treatment, referring doctors, pathology laboratories and appointments. All of this information is input using a friendly environment tested over the last two years in hepatitis clinics in Melbourne, Australia.

Extracting Relevant Information
At the heart of HepTrack is the Data Analysis form which allows the retrieval of information that is linked in ways defined by the user. For example the Data Analysis form allows you to look up all of those male patients who are Hepatitis C antibody positive, who have had a blood transfusion and come from Italy.

Information Security
HepTrack is fully password protected allowing the "administrator" access to more levels than other designated users.

Laboratory Interface
HepTrack can be interfaced to your laboratory computer system - allowing patient test results to to be electronically downloaded - instead of keying in the results by hand. Full instructions are included with the program and help is available to guide you.

Local Area Network
HepTrack can be used in a local area network for no extra cost as long as the network resides in the one institution.

Data Backup
Data can be backed up to a "zip" drive or to a nominated network drive.
